The Sun's leader

The Sun says:

"The BBC political editor has learned that Tony Blair won't hold the election on May 3"

said the Beeb's newsreader yesterday at the end of the otherwise laudable and authorative Frost Programme.

Excuse us while we clear our throats here at The Sun.

EH!!!! YOU WHAT????

Presumably this means that the very excellent Andy Marr, political editor of the BBC, managed to find his way to a newsagent at some stage on Saturday, shelled out his 40p (cheap at half the price) and became one of 4.2m people to buy that day's Sun.

Do you ever watch these political people on the telly and wonder if they know much?

Well now you know. They know EXACTLY as much as YOU do.

If you read The Sun.

Which only goes to show that we matter.

And they do not.
