Survivor's Friday ratings revival proved short-lived, with last night's follow-up on ITV losing nearly 1m viewers.
Last night's visit to Survivor island, which featured more bitching between Adrian, Charlotte and Jayne before the latter was voted off, had just 5.2m viewers and a 25% audience share, according to unofficial overnights.
This was 0.8m down on Friday's show, but better than the 4.4m who tuned in last Thursday.
Survivor lost out to BBC1 drama Score, about a Sunday league football team who win the lottery, between 9pm and 10pm.
Score, the first instalment of a two-parter starring Sue Johnston and Robert Pugh, had 5.5m viewers and a 27% audience share.
Channel 4's Big Brother had another mixed ratings night.
The regular 10pm show continues to prosper against news bulletins on BBC1 and ITV, with 4.2m tuning in last night.
But an earlier edition at 8.30pm, which provided a catch-up with Saturday's goings-on in the Big Brother house, managed just 2.8m against stiffer competition on the other channels.
Channel 4 drama Men Only concluded strongly last night, with 2.7m viewers and a 24% audience share.
The tale of men behaving very badly was the most watched show on any channel between 10.30pm and midnight.
ITV's comedy woes continue, with Davina McCall sitcom Sam's Game relegated from peaktime to 10.30pm and attracted only 2.5m viewers - a paltry 16% of the available audience.
Michael Barrymore vehicle Bob Martin had an even more miserable time, with just a 1.2m audience a barely one in ten viewers from 11pm.
BBC1 comedy sketch show TV to Go fared little better - it had just 2.7m viewers between 10.40pm and 11.10pm.
Channel 5 enjoyed its best Monday night since August, with a 7% peaktime viewing share between 6pm and 10.30pm.
Terrestrial movie premiere One Kill, a courtroom drama starring Anne Heche, led the way with 2.4m viewers and a 12% audience share from 9pm.
Channel 5 also successfully jumped on the Pearl Harbor bandwagon with a documentary about the surprise Japanese attack that brought the US into the second world war.
Pearl Harbor: Seven Views of Defiance had 1.9m viewers and a 9% audience share.
